Bacon and prune aromas are heavy and jumpy, and the nose is dark and gaseous, and the palate is grating and shows no real change. There's a lot of oak and related barrel notes to the bouquet, and the wine tastes like baked brown sugar and caramel. Tasted twice with consistent results.
