Cherry and earthy aromas of cedar, vanilla, tobacco and blackberry are common for Chilean Cabernet. This is full and pumped up in feel, with a shot of acidity. Flavors of minty blackberry, cassis, vanilla and chocolate are slightly baked but also show a note of raisin. This is a big wine with almost 15% alcohol. The finish is slightly chocolaty but mostly it's a tough-as-nails version of a tough vintage.
