Our Review

The name means “orange” in Latin and this wine is an unusual amalgam of Syrah, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. It's about the same as the three other Rhône-style reds from the 2008 vintage, but the grapes are smaller and the wine is a bit less concentrated. The acids are bright, with a touch of fresh herbs.
