Our Review

This is a medium-bodied, toasty wine, with the right amount of oak to handle the oaky flavors. It's not a new wine; it was pioneered by the late Thomas Figgins in the 1930s, and this is the first vintage since the late 1990s. The oak is not overpowering; the wine is just too soft to enjoy now. Drink with a great steak.
